This jacket was designed for female enthusiasts of historical fencing as well as fans of books and RPG games. It is the women’s version of the well-known jacket, created in collaboration with David Miller of Sellsword Arts.

Whether you are just beginning your HEMA journey or are an experienced practitioner, our jacket will meet your expectations during training. It combines the traditional AP design with a touch of fantasy flair. Perfect for training with sabres or longswords — and, of course, when paired with additional overlays such as Shell, PRO , or plastrons.

Extended HEMA jacket — striking and practical

The jacket features a long cut, reaching just below the knees. It fastens with a hook-and-loop closure and zipper. The collar includes a bladecatcher. Slits are placed at the front, back, and sides, with red trim along the edges, sleeves, and front flap. A waist strap at the back allows for adjustment, and elbow mounts accommodate additional overlays like Shell or PRO.

To partly replicate the “padded armor” look from RPGs, we opted for an elongated version with segmented cuts. The slits add character to the jacket while ensuring that its length doesn’t restrict movement during training.

Slits at the bottom, front, and sides

Flexible slits at the bottom and sides not only increase mobility but also make moving during training easier. The waist strap helps tailor the fit to your silhouette. Most importantly, the Sellsword is made from 350N material. This unique jacket combines functionality with a distinctive appearance — truly one-of-a-kind on any training floor!
