The Unity overlay was created thanks to the opinions of customers about the test versions of this product. The final version fully meets the expectations of users.
It can be used by women and men who use various types of simulator during HEMA training.
It is made of black, suede natural leather. It covers the top of the mask on each side as well as the back. On the back there is an elongated occipital, covering the nape of the neck. It is fastened with one, adjustable oblong velcro at the back. Under the chin, there is an additional rubber band that holds the overlay in place.
Overlay protects the mask against quick wear. In addition, it cushions the back of the head during HEMA training. The part that covers the back of the head is filled with a 1 cm thick layer of plastic foam and two overlapping layers of plastic faulds. The whole thing is flexible and has strong damping. There are no gaps between the reinforcements that could weaken the structure.
The stabilizing element is a velcro strap handle sewn in at the junction of the occipital with the overlay. It is located on the inside of this HEMA equipment. It allows for a more secure attachment of the overlay to the mask. The strap on the back makes it easier to remove, and also holds the overlay on the occipital in such a way that it adheres to the back of the head.
Unity is the most mobile mask overlay among SPES products. It combines an elegant cut and comfort of use.
