Officer 800N — a Classic Reimagined
Recently, we had the pleasure of completing a particularly thoughtful and patiently developed custom order. This project caught our attention especially because, over the past months, we have been intensively working on an upgrade of our classic Officer line. In several key aspects, this realization aligns perfectly with our current design considerations and future development direction.
(Of course, we will keep you updated on the progress of this upgrade.)

A Commission That Became an Inspiration
Here we are looking at an Officer 800N jacket featuring distinct visual changes. First, a purple sleeve was introduced, along with a matching purple fabric panel on the shoulder. Both sleeves are finished with white PRO tapes, giving the jacket a clearly technical and performance-oriented character.

Visual and Structural Changes
The most striking feature is the diamond-pattern quilting on the jacket’s torso. In this project, the closure design was also revised — the front flap no longer runs diagonally but vertically, significantly increasing its surface area.
On the front, near the closure, we decided to remove the decorative trim. In its place, a subtle ornamental embroidery was added in the form of a purple Maltese cross, creating a strong yet elegant visual accent.
From a functional standpoint, the jacket remains fully consistent with our classic version. The design is completed by large front foam pockets, allowing for easy adjustment of padding thickness and impact absorption in the finished jacket.

Towards the Next Generation of the Officer
We can reveal that our current conceptual work — beyond a gentle refresh of the cut and improved fit — is also moving toward the use of quilting on the front of the jacket and possibly on the sleeves as well.
Let us know what you think of this project and which new version of the Officer you would like to see in our offer in the future.
