This day was bound to come… – the AP jacket in Spider-Man version

We all knew that this day would finally come. We have been preparing for this for the last few years, when finally my spider-sense detected a specific jacket in red and blue taking shape in the sewing room. The AP 350N jacket in the Spider-Man version became a reality.

Spider-Man was created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko in 1962 and today he is one of the most popular superheroes. The history of Peter Parker had been retold by various artists throughout decades, including cinematographers and game developers.

Spidey is entering HEMA

Having tons of various sources in various forms (comic books, TV shows, movies and video games), we were able to prepare a kind of compilation of different designs to make the best possible theme for our AP LIGHT jacket.

What we wanted to achieve here is a kind of muscularity, which is already visible in the AP model thanks to specific shoulder design. We also wanted to achieve a dynamic color transition between red and blue, which would underline body shape.

Details make difference

As requested, in the center of the front we have placed a classic black spider in the form of embroidery.

We wanted to make a characteristic spider web pattern in the form of contrastive stitching, going out concentrically from the neck and avoiding embroidery. The stitching has another role which is to underline the ABS. You can also find it on arms, making a nice transition between colors and referring to classic interpretations of Spider-Man suit.

You have to admit that this gear will impress everyone at the tournament. At the same time, it keeps all features of the standard AP LIGHT jacket.
